Do you think that last night's program about football corruption is enough to charge Sam Allardyce and his son

Apparently the arrogant managers association have said there is no substance in the documentary but I watched it and completely disagree, it exposed them for what they really are, money grabbing b******s.|||I do not think anyone who watched the programme can be in any doubt that Allardyce has taken bungs in the past. Neither do think the editing had anything to do with how I interpreted the comments I heard. I have yet hear any comments from the Manager himself in response - other than weak denials that anything untoward took place.

I sincerely hope that both Allardyces (senior and junior) do not have any future in English football.

It also looks very clear that Chelsea, Liverpool and Portsmouth were prepared to discuss other club's players without their permission. How they can deny anything illegal took place is beyond me.

A sad day for football - only to become sadder if those involved in back-handers and tapping up are allowed to stay in the game.|||No I understand why English players are so expensive ... its all these dealings that are just ridiculous.... I believed in Sam but if the allegations are true then my please send in Scotland Yard into every boardroom to clean the game up.

Cant now wait for Lord Stevens report into the game due on Oct 2.

I wonder who all the 18 managers are ....|||It is enough to make him look like a complete ****, him and his thick as pig shite son, but maybe not enough to completely convict - but certainlly no one should have any respect for him anymore|||No, you can't charge a man based on what someone else says. ALL the views that he has, would and will takes bungs were words spoken by agents. They are not exactly renowned for their honesty - and whether they were lying or not, no one can prove big Sam did anything wrong. You never heard him, or anyone else connected with any club say they would accept a bung, therefore as damning as the program seemed, there isn't a lot that can be done aside from possible charging the agent that was touting his player around. At no point in the program did you see Chelsea Liverpool or Portsmouth approach anyone about a player - moreover it was the agent that offered the players - therefore again it's the agent that will get in trouble.

I can only assume that managers and scouts etc do take bungs given the weight of circumstantial evidence, but after seeing last nights program, i have to say, the BBC spending a year to do this, not to mention using Licence payers money on it, well, i just they they could maybe have come up with something a little better than someone saying another person doers something wrong. After all, i could tell you anyone takes bungs, it wouldn't make it true...
