this is present perfect continuous and simple



1) a, because the action of selling happened and its over with. so you sold.

2) b a would be correct if it said john just swam...

3) b, because crying took some time. a would be correct if you said, Mel has cried all day

4) a. they did not win, it passed. b would be correct if there were multiple championships and they were losing them all

5) a. b is just plain wrong! haha.
