For Northern Ireland Football fans?

I know this is the scottish footba section but it is probably the best place to get the opinion of norn iron club supporters,

I was just wondering what you think of the proposed All Ireland football League , do you think it's a runner and would you like your clubs to be involved.

I know down south we would love it , I think it would give the game a real lift on this Island and as long as the two associations are respected it would be good, because god knows something has to be done, there is hardly a season that goes by without some club goin under.

Honestly think the Irish need this to happen so much more than the League of Ireland. The league of Ireland has went from strength to strength over the last few years and shown definite signs of improvement whereas, the Irish league has got worse and worse. The all Ireland league would get the fans back through the gates again, thus bringing in more revenue to invest in the grounds, players etc, not to mention the extra revenue which would come in through vastly increased sponsorship.
Ulster is not a country, nor a nationality..............duh

don't think this should happen, its like asking the spl and epl to merge. both two different countries so why would there be a shared league. also if this was to happen there would be the argument for an all ireland football league which in turn would prob bring riots back to norn iron. best thing is to keep the setanta cup then everyone is happy!
