Why do the English get pissed at the Americans for saying soccer as they made the word up?

you guys invented Association Football and made "association" and shortened it to "soc" and then it became "soccer." what do you have to say about this? LOL but its true..Why do the English get pissed at the Americans for saying soccer as they made the word up?
Because we had football before you and you were the one's who created the name soccer for us which we refused to have. So now, it's still called football. You called your game football because americans are to stupid to create anything of their own.

You know what else annoys me about Americans, THEY PUT CHEESE ON EVERYTHING, Sorry i just had to put that, that really pisses me off.

But overall i do like america =]x





EDIT: THEY ALSO SPEAK OUR LANGUAGE BUT THEN SAY THAT WE DONT SPEAK IT PROPERLY WHEN ITS OUR OWN LANGUAGE.

And they say we drink looaaaadss of tea and have crooked teeth ! i hate tea ! and i have straight teeth ! :-)

It's for the same reason that the English call Americans Yankees. They obviously haven't studied any history and are just going with the flow.
We know that the Americans would get confused with both sports.Why do the English get pissed at the Americans for saying soccer as they made the word up?
All I can say is that American Football is FAR more entertaining than whatever you wish to call the other game.
