Will Portsmouth go bust?

"Crisis club Portsmouth have confirmed that they have asked the Premier League if they can sell players outside the transfer window."

"However, the move will depend on their request being sanctioned by the Football Association, FIFA and the Premier League."Will Portsmouth go bust?
the club has basically become insolvent and can't keep itself afloat. they just went too far with all the spending and its ruined them. this reminds me of leeds except pompey might fold
There is no way back for them - so yes. Will Portsmouth go bust?
Why should the transfer window be opened just for them? Ridiculous. I can't see Fifa or the FA agreeing.
It's terrible how the issue of money makes teams want to buy so many players, even though in reality, they can't afford them. Teams like Chelsea and Man City are on a different planet to everyone else, so by following their examples. lots of other teams will go bust..Will Portsmouth go bust?
it's terrible how redknapp ruined them

hope they dont
Hopefully they can stay in business until the end of the season. They will be getting relegated this season but selling players is just a last resort method of not going bust otherwise the whole league will suffer too.
I hope not, wouldn't want to see any club go under.

If they sell the players, they will definetely go down, but its preferential of course to liquidation.

It wasn't Harry's fault -- this lies with the owners , constant changing of ownershio, lack of investment and the board.
thought they already there
It's not looking good.

No buyers, no investment, few assets. But with the season set to be thrown into disarray as a result of the previous fixtures i reckon the PL could assist in some capacity to at least allow the club to function until the end of the season.

Why Pompey haven't gone into administration and accepted the points deduction is beyond me.
Portsmouth will not go bust because there will always be someone willing to buy the club, plus there will always be a fanbase of 25,000 mugs, sorry, supporters who will always attend home games. And they have assets they can sell. They may drop down a couple of divisions but they will survive- as Gloria Gaynor once sang.
i dont think anyone wud bother buy a portsmouthian...they are waay too pathtic..and personally i think, the club should be dissolved without any further regret! haha
