I've created a sport that combines aspects of hockey, soccer, football and handball among other sports. It's played on a grass field relative soccer and american football.
Players are allowed to carry the ball at certain parts of the field, as well they are allowed to score by kick or throwing the ball into a soccer-like goal. In other parts of the field they are required to dribble like in basketball.
So I need a ball that is roughly 10" that is able to be kicked, can be bounced on grass and thrown consistently without becoming lopsided too quickly.
I've looked into volleyballs, kickballs, and soccer/association footballs, handballs, and a Gaelic Football. Since the Gaelic ball ways slightly more than an association football they are probably the top choice.
However I discovered this new sport KRONUM, and am curious as to what ball they use, because it may also work.
Any suggestions on the best bet? I have a 8.5"(I think it's 8.5) Red rubber kickball and it's a little lighter and small for what I need but it's fairly close. A friend said I should try a volleyball, but want to look at all possibles. Also is there a place to buy a Gaelic Ball here in the US?
Thanks!!Spherical ball that bounces on grass and can be kicked/thrown?
What about a playground ball
